Level 1: Laying the Groundwork
Initiatives at this level are ideal if your organization is actively exploring the benefits of a coordinated diversity, equity, and inclusion journey and is now looking for clear next steps to move forward.

Cultural humility, a practice of self-reflection and self-critique regarding one's own cultural identity and biases, while also being open to learning from others' cultural experience, is an essential part of an inclusive company or organization. This workshop gives participants a look into the fundamentals of cultural humility and how a deeper understanding of this concept will foster inclusivity. Participants will have the opportunity to explore their own identities and reflect on what cultural humility means to them and their organization. This session will introduce frameworks and language essential to building foundational knowledge of inclusion and belonging. Together we will explore key concepts to have impactful conversations about belonging. Having a common understanding of inclusive language enables clear communication throughout an organization. This training session is designed to offer a distinctive perspective on anti-harassment training through the lens of inclusion and belonging. Attendees will gain insights into the fundamental causes of harassment and a broader understanding of its various forms in the workplace. The session will emphasize strategies for addressing harassment at both the institutional and individual levels, and readily adapts to your organization’s specific harassment and discrimination policies and procedures.

This session explores how seemingly small negative interpersonal experiences impact individuals’ sense of safety and well-being. The impact of these experiences shape an organization’s turnover, reputation, and overall lack of effectiveness. Participants will also learn strategies for minimizing exclusionary behaviors and responding when they occur.

Organizations that establish a high level of psychological safety create an environment where team members feel empowered to speak up, voice concerns, and engage in open, constructive dialogue. This leads to higher levels of performance and lower levels of interpersonal conflict. In this session, we will explore the fundamentals of psychological safety and how inclusion and belonging contribute to fostering such an environment. Participants will gain practical strategies to apply these concepts both individually and organizationally.

For the first time in modern history, five generations are working simultaneously in the workplace, and engaging all generations is essential to innovation, inclusivity, and belonging. This session will discuss the challenges to a thriving multi-generational workforce as well as strategies to mitigate these challenges. We will explore the building blocks of intergenerational communication and offer practical tools to foster a workplace where every generation feels empowered to collaborate and contribute. In an age-diverse world, learning to bridge generational gaps and celebrating each generation’s value is increasingly important.

This workshop offers insights into the origins and effects of our automatic thoughts and behaviors, as well as ways to reduce unintentional harm. Real-world examples will be utilized to enhance understanding, facilitating real-world implementation in the workplace. This session empowers participants to cultivate a more inclusive organizational culture by raising awareness and equipping them with tools to address bias.

Level 2: Building Momentum
Initiatives at this level are ideal for organizations that have begun building a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and offering learning opportunities—and are now looking to expand and deepen their impact.

This session will take a deeper dive into how organizations can support inclusive workforces by creating environments that are more attractive to job-seekers. This session will provide best practices for company policies (e.g., dress code), benefits (e.g., PTO), marketing, job structure, and more.

This engaging workshop is an excellent way to kick off discussions on inclusion and belonging, as well as explore strategies for creating a more inclusive organization. Participants will learn about identity diversity, biases, exclusionary behaviors, and other facets of diversity, equity, and inclusion. This session also addresses barriers that some folks face and offers best practices so that all employees can work to foster more inclusive environments. This training is customizable for different industries and age groups, and the longer version includes additional time for activities and dialogue.

Level 3: Putting Principles into Practice
Initiatives at this level are ideal for organizations whose leadership and team have actively engaged in diversity, equity, and inclusion learning and strategy development. Now, you seek support in seamlessly integrating your shared vision into daily team experiences.

This training can serve as a follow-up to the Introduction to Inclusive Leadership, or it can be taken as a standalone option, depending on what best suits your organization.
As workplaces continue to change, leadership requires the qualities and skills to foster cohesive and empowered teams. This session focuses on the benefits of inclusive leadership to leaders and organizations, as well as what implementation looks like on a practical level.

Consulting services at any level may include: assessments, focus group facilitation, data analysis, recommendations on your diversity, equity, and inclusion vision and goals, ERG and/or committee organizing, benchmarking, sharing outcomes, and leadership support.

We can facilitate group conversations on specific diversity, equity, and inclusion topics. These smaller groups provide opportunities for deeper dialogue invaluable to building inclusivity and fostering relationship building.
